Annotate a PDF with a Chromebook:
Open PDF (from Google Drive for example).
Click the ‘print’ icon which will open the chrome viewer of the file.
You may rotate the PDF here if desired by clicking the ‘rotate’ button in the top.
Click the ‘annotate’ icon (pencil) in the top right corner.
Annotate the PDF with the tools (pen, highlighter, eraser). You can change the size and colour of the pen and highlighter.
Click the ‘print’ icon and choose the destination, for example Google Drive or local storage PDF.
Hand Mark PDF in Google Classroom with Chromebook:
Ensure you have the Google Classroom app installed on your device. You can check this in Google Play.
Open the Google Classroom app.
Open the assignment and view the student’s PDF.
Click the ‘edit’ icon (pencil) in the top right corner.
Edit the PDF with the tools: pen, marker, highlighter, eraser, text.
When finished, click the ‘save’ icon (floppy disk) in the top right corner.
This will automatically appear as an additional PDF beside the student's original copy. It will be automatically named ‘Edited - [original name]’.
You can go back in and re-edit this version if you like.
When you return that student’s assignment, this edited PDF will be returned along with the original PDF.
